If anyone knows what this thing was doing when it was scanning every directory on my computer feel free to respond and enlighten me. The weird thing is I built this computer over a year ago and only recently did I via xhci host controller this problem. Everything Else Search In. If it doesnt work after simply uninstalling it try reinstalling windows without comtroller the provided hkst driver. Sorry this didn’t help. It’s weird but it works.

I scoured the performance monitor and turned off a via xhci host controller of unnecessary processes that automatically start up but it was still screaming and driving me insane. This thread is locked. The processor fan was what initially caused me to look into the problem because it was screaming like a banshee for what appeared to be no reason xhcii I set it to silent in the BIOS.
The software even says I still have the driver installed. I am on via xhci host controller 10 version Does anyone know how to fix this so the driver always starts properly on System Startup? This calmed the system down for awhile but then a few days ago it started up again. I think the most likely reason is because the development team overlooked how windows handles the installation of USB drivers, which caused a problem in handling them when they do get installed.

Whoever was telling you it would make your harddrive perform faster was either full of shit, referring to an external harddrive, or both. Ben and Regile I figured out the problem its an issue with via xhci host controller way windows 10 handles motherboard USB drivers. Vvia sud0nickMarch 28, in Everything Else. With the motherboard usb driver it interferes with the VIA driver. I’m just glad vka I finally got rid of it and my system is via xhci host controller to normal.
